Health Advocates Network LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE in Morganton, North Carolina

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a Correctional Facility in Morganton, North Carolina . These are registry positions with our company.

36hrs Travel Package

Weekly Gross Pay = $648

Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $18

Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $1036 (Hotel-672 Meals-364)

Total Weekly ($1036 is not taxed)= $1684

Feels like per hour = $46.78

$1684 div 36 hours = $46.78

Shifts Available:

  • 12-hour day shift

  • 12- hour night shift

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least one year (12 months) previous working experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse

  • Must have up to date credentials in the state of North Carolina

  • Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away

  • A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)

  • Ability to build rapport with patients

  • Compassionate and caring demeanor

  • Familiarity with medical terminology

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients

  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior

  • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care

  • Maintain accurate patient medical records

  • Provide companionship and basic care to patients

  • Administer prescribed medications to patients
